Born and raised in South Africa, Shoeshoe personally curates every Beyond Borders journey. Rooted in local knowledge and trusted partnerships across the continent, with guides, with communities, with conservationists, with the land itself, she designs private luxury safaris that prioritise authenticity, care, and real conservation impact.
She started Beyond Borders because the way Africa is often presented to travellers from elsewhere doesn't look anything like the Africa she knows. What she built instead is a quieter kind of operator: one where the people who shape the place are the people you actually meet. She works directly with vetted guides and conservation partners to ensure each trip protects place, uplifts people, and delivers rare, private encounters, from the Okavango to the Serengeti, the Namib to the Rwandan highlands.
