When I began travelling professionally, I realised the most valuable things I learnt never appeared in brochures.
They emerged over long dinners with founders. Early-morning walks through properties before guests arrived. Conversations with guides, architects, chefs and conservationists. Those moments shaped my judgement far more than any specification sheet ever could.
